This year, in addition to the regional southern, central, and northern REDES conferences, REDES has set aside funding to support local REDES groups who want to collaborate to improve their communities and provide educational experiences for the girls.

These small exchanges provide an opportunity for the girls to peer teach other groups, gain experience organizing community events, and learn about development, education, and health in a real-world environment. The exchanges also help Mozambican facilitators take on stronger and stronger leadership roles in REDES, a major focus of REDES this year!
